Zansia Solis

My name is Zansia Solis, and I am the principal at Chambers Elementary School. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for more than 20 years and a principal at Chambers for over a year. Before becoming a principal, I taught 3rd Grade Math and Science at Outley Elementary, and have served as an Assistant Principal at Klentzman Intermediate, Chambers Elementary and Best Elementary.

I graduated from Texas A&M University, where I obtained my Bachelors in Sociology.  I also hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from University of Houston-Clearlake.

It is my priority to provide all students with a welcoming, safe, and supportive learning environment to create life-long learners through equitable educational opportunities.

Susan Branam

My name is Susan Branam, and I am the assistant principal at Chambers Elementary. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for more than ​12 years and an assistant principal at Chambers for the last 2 years.

Before becoming an assistant principal, I taught 2nd and 4th grades at Hearne Elementary in Hearne ISD and at Outley elementary in Alief. I served as a math specialist at Horn Elementary and an assistant principal at Mahanay Elementary before coming to Chambers.

I graduated from Texas A&M University, where I obtained a ​bachelor's degree in ​Education. I hold a masters' degree in Educational Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

It is my mission to ensure that every student on my campus receives an equitable education. Equity starts with achievement and providing students equal opportunities to go wherever their passions take them. I believe in loving accountability for students and staff in which the culture is warm and engaging, but there are high expectations set for students and teachers alike.
