Jason Montgomery

My name is Jason Montgomery, and I am the assistant principal at Chambers Elementary.  I grew up in Alief, attending Alief school from Pre-K through high school.

Before becoming an assistant principal, I started my teaching career at Outley Elementary.   I taught grades Kinder through Fourth grades, but most of my time was spent teaching Kinder and First grades.

I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication. I hold a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Houston Christian University.

When I am not working with our Alief community, I enjoy spending time with family/friends, enjoying good food, sports and serving in church as well as mentoring.

I am excited to join the Chambers family to grow and to serve.
