The purpose of the school guidance program is to promote and to enhance the learning process. As school counselor, I work closely with administrators, teachers, parents, and the community to support and accomplish goals with a keen focus on three strands of guidance: academic success, college/career information, and personal/social development. I provide individual and classroom support for pre-kindergarten through fourth grade students.

Comprehensive guidance and counseling is an essential part of the counseling program at Chambers Elementary. The school guidance program includes various activities such as Red Ribbon Week, College and Career Week, and Random Acts of Kindness Week. Counseling emphasis at the elementary level includes preventing problems which might affect school work and providing classroom guidance on topics such as study skills, problem-solving, communication skills, character development, and conflict management.
