Our Mighty Rams in the AVID program recently visited Pima Medical Institute for an exciting college and career exploration experience. AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a program designed to prepare students for college readiness, career success, leadership, and future opportunities.
During the visit, students learned more about healthcare pathways, hands-on training programs, and the importance of continuing their education after high school. They had the opportunity to explore different career fields, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into what it takes to succeed in the medical profession.
